The 2024 Starry Night Gala

$40,000 raised for our recipient organizations

The Tiny Footprints Society of Edmonton was honoured to present funds to H.E.A.R.T.S. Baby Loss Program, Angel Whispers, ParentCare, Royal Alexandra Hospital Foundation, and Kihew Awasis Wakamik Cultural Society (formerly Indigenous Birth of Alberta).

Local initiatives such as baby loss workshops with Alanna Knobben of Carry You With Me, ongoing teddy bear donations for local hospital perinatal bereavement programs, and the distribution of baby loss comfort boxes through Avery’s Legacy will also be funded with 2024 gala proceeds.

Highlights of the sold-out event included:
Emcee Daintre Christensen, live musical entertainment by singer-songwriter Ellen Doty and pianist Devin Hart, live moss art creation by Brooke Stanley-Smith of Lush Moss Designs, silent auction, live auction featuring auctioneer Bernie Riegger, teddy bear table, family storyboards, and Interactive memorial tribute artwork.

The 2023 Starry Night Gala

$40,000 raised for our recipient organizations

Tiny Footprints YEG was honoured to present funds to the Royal Alexandra Hospital Foundation, H.E.A.R.T.S. Baby Loss Program, Angel Whispers, and ParentCare.

Because we exceeded our fundraising goal, we distributed additional funds to other programs that help families going through pregnancy and infant loss, including Cherished Lives, Kihew Awasis Wakamik Cultural Society (formerly Indigenous Birth of Alberta), Carry You With Me, and Avery’s Legacy.

Emcee Daintre Christensen, Live musical entertainment by Ellen Doty, Live painting by Ashley Rosenow, Wine raffle featuring 52 unique bottles of wine, Silent auction, Memorial slideshow, Family storyboards, Interactive memorial tribute artwork.

The 2022 Starry Night Gala

$20,000 raised for our recipient charities

Proceeds were donated to the Royal Alexandra Hospital Foundation, to the Lois Hole Hospital for Women’s perinatal bereavement program, and to the H.E.A.R.T.S. Baby Loss Program through the BriarPatch Family Life Education Centre.

Highlights of the sold-out event included:
Delicious food prepared by the NAIT Culinary Arts Team, Live musical entertainment by Martin Kerr, Live painting by Giselle Denis, Wine raffle featuring 100 unique bottles of wine, Silent auction and live auction, Memorial slideshow, Family storyboards, Interactive memorial tribute artwork.
The event featured presentations by representatives of the recipient charities (Chy Salter-Roberts and Patti Walker) and a presentation by Nadia Houle and Lori Calkins of kihew awasis wakamik (Indigenous Birth Alberta).
