2022 Gala Highlights & Photos

The 2022 Starry Night Gala raised $20,000 for our recipient charities.

Proceeds were donated to the Royal Alexandra Hospital Foundation on behalf of the Lois Hole Hospital for Women’s perinatal bereavement program, and to the H.E.A.R.T.S. Baby Loss Program through the BriarPatch Family Life Education Centre.

Highlights of the sold-out event included:

• Delicious food prepared by the NAIT Culinary Arts Team

• Live musical entertainment by Martin Kerr

• Live painting by Giselle Denis

• Wine raffle featuring 100 unique bottles of wine

• Silent auction and live auction

• Memorial slideshow

• Family storyboards

• Interactive memorial tribute artwork

The event featured presentations by representatives of the recipient charities (Chy Salter-Roberts and Patti Walker) and a presentation by Nadia Houle and Lori Calkins of kihew awasis wakamik (Indigenous Birth Alberta).
